I have no idea if this is going to stick. I do know there are p-l-e-n-t-y of times when I have something to say on a topic and no one around to say it to. Being a SAHM is a lot of things...a lot of wonderful things...but I do miss having the opportunity to discuss the topics of the day with my coworkers at the metaphorical watercooler. My one year old is not so much interested in debating gay marriage or dishing about who was best dressed at the academy awards. My five year old does not want to discuss the books I am reading unless it is Star Wars: The Clone Wars (although I do make him listen to new music I've discovered...he likes Vampire Weekend). And the eight year old is not so much interested in reminscing about the good old days (I used to love Scarecrow and Mrs. King. What?) I twitter, and that is fun but let's face it...I need more than 180 characters most of the time.
So here I am. Let's see if it goes anywhere.
